Pretty Wedding at St. Andrew’s Church.

CELEBRATED LAST WEEK. ! KEANE—TAYLOR. BRIDE IN WHITE SILK GEORGETTE A very pretty wedding was solemnised at St. Andrew’s church, Pukekohe, on Wednesday, May 15, the officiating minister being the Rev. J. P. Cowie. The contracting parties were Donald Mcßae, eldest son of Mr and Mrs i). F. Keane, “Rocknell,” Pukekohe East, and Ada Eileen, only daughter of Mr and Mrs W. H. Taylor of Seddon street, Pukekohe. The bride entered the church on the arm of her father, and was attended by Miss A. M. Roulston of Hastings, and Miss P. Graham of Paterangi, as bridesmaids. The bridegroom was attended by Mr A. E. Keane as best man and Mr W. J. Taylor as groomsman. The bride looked attractive in a slim fitting frock of white silk georgette over cream satin. Her veil was caught to the head with a hand of orange blossoms, and fell away gracefully to form a train. She carried a bouquet of white chrysanthemums and roses. The chief bridesmaid, Miss Roulston, a friend of the bride, wore lemon wood-bark crepe, while the second bridesmaid, Miss Graham, cousin of the bride, wore eaq-de-nil crepe. Both wore black hats and long lace mittens and carried bouquets to tone. Mr T. H. Midgley officiated at the organ. At the wedding breakfast held subsequently, over 70 guests were present. The bride’s mother received the guests wearing a frock of brown mattalaise, while the bridegroom's mother was in navy silk marocain. The •tables were tastefully decorated with mina lobata and autumn foliage. The happy couple received the good wishes of a wide circle of friends, while numerous gifts testified to the high esteem in which they are held. After the breakfast Mr and Mrs Keane left amid showers of confetti, for Rotorua. The bride travelled in a floral and plain navy ensemble suit with hat to match. Their future home will he at Buckland.
