FRIDAY’S RATES. DAIRIES SELL WELL. ; The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company Limited, held its usual sale at Papakura on Friday. There was an average attendance, and good prices were again given for anything of quality. The dairy herd offered on behalf of Mr J. Nicol of Ardmore, realised from £5 to £lO 10s. Other prices were: Backward cows. £3 to £4 10s; bulls, £2 12s 6d'to £3 15s; steers, £7; others, £4 10s to £5 14s; fat cows, £3 10s to £4 16s; others, £1 10s to £2 ss; boners, £1 to £1 9s; heifers, £1 5s to £2; weaner pigs. 9s to 12s; sows, £1 to £3 ss. Sundries: Posts, Is 4d to Is lOd; gig lamps, 4s pair; cow covers, 4s; gig, £l.
