CROQUET NOTES.
THE PA?AKURA CLUB. ANNUAL MEETING HELD. The annual meeting of the Papakura Croquet Club was held on Thursday. Mrs Richardson, president, was in the chair. The reports and balance sheet showed that the club was in a satisfactory position. The club championship was won by Mrs Bates, the trophy being presented by Mrs Richardson. The “B” championship was won by Mrs McKay. The election of officers resulted as follows: Patron. Mrs E. D. McLennan; president, Mrs Lound; vice-presidents, Mrs Bates and Mrs Matheson; secretary, Miss Cooper; treasurer, Mrs McKay; match committee, Mrs Bates, the president ( and secretary; delegates to South Suburban Association, Mrs Bates and Miss Cooper: committee, Mesdames Matheson. Bartels and Miss Young: green superintendent, Mrs McKay.
