ORANGE BLOSSOMS.

MURRAY—BURGOYNE. PRETTY CEREMONY AT CLEVEDON. All Souls’ Church, Glevedon, was the scene of a pretty wedding on Wednesday last, the contracting parties being Miss Molly Burgoyne, eldest daughter of Mr and Mrs L. H. Burgoyne of Clevedon, and Mr Kenneth Murray, only son of Mr G. Murray of Auckland. The Rev. H. W. Heaslip officiated and Mrs Heaslip presided at the organ. The church was beautifully decorated by friends of the bride, and an artistic wedding bell of white hydrangeas, made by Miss M. Hyde, hung above the altar rails.

The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a frock of ivory silk crepe cut on slender lines with full sleeves and deep side frill at the hem. Her embroidered tulle veil was caught up in a tight fitting juliet cap, with sprays of orange blossom, and she carried a sheaf of St. Joseph’s lilies. The bridesmaid, Miss Joan Burgoyne, wore a dainty frock of silk crepe in pastel shades of primrose and pale pink, with hat to tone, and she carried a sheaf of small yellow arum lilies. Little Barbara Burgoyne, as flower girl, wore a hand-embroidered frock of sea green organdie which touched the ground and she carried a posy of rosebuds. Mr F. H. O’Donnell attended the bridegroom as best man. After the ceremony a reception was held at “Kalora.” the home of the bride’s parents. Mrs Burgoyne received the guests wearing a navy and white marocain ensemble with embroidered coat and small navy hat, .and she carried a bouquet of red and white carnations. Mr and Mrs Murray will take up their residence at Te Kuiti where Mr Murray is a member of the post office staff.
