THE CHAK3P3ONSHIPS. The results of last week's play (the first round) are as follow: Seniors: Miss L. Potter beat Mrs Motion; Miss Kensington beat Miss Campbell; Miss A. Potter beat Mrs Jordan; Mrs McWhirter won by default. Juniors: Mrs Hosking beat Mrs Harvey; Miss Savident won by default; Mrs Cooper beat Miss B. Perkins; Mrs Bayly beat Miss V. Greenway. In the second round of the vicepresident's trophy Miss L. Potter beat Miss J. Bayly: Miss Kensington beat Mrs Motion: Mrs": Hosking beat Miss Campbell: Mrs Cooper beat Miss A.Potter. The bogey match for last week was won by Mrs Jordan who returned a card, G down.
