PUKEKOHE STOCK MARKET. LOAN COMPANY'S SALE. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Ltd., conducted their regular stock sale at Pukekohe on Thursday. There was a large yarding of cattle, dairy cattle predominating. Quotations are: — Best dairy cows and heifers, £8 to £lO :10s; others, £5 to £7 15s: old cows, £2 10s to £i 10s. There was no demand for backward dairy cows or heifers.
. Fat cows. £4 to £5 ss: fat steers, £6 10s to £7 10s; tillable cows, £2 10s to £3 15s': boner cows, £1 10s to £2 ss: old cows, 15s to £1 ss. In-calf heifers, £2 to £4 ss: yearling heifers, £1 to £2 15s; Mills, £1 to £4 10s, according to condition. Pigs: Baconers, £3 to £3 12s. porkersv £1 10s to £2: large stores. 15s to £1 ss; slips, 10s to £1: wvaners, 8s to 16s.
