t * ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
The Tuakau District Sheep Dog Trial Club held its annual meeting on Friday, the retiring president, Mr 0. McCutchan, presiding. The president’s report recorded that the club’s annual trials last year had given every satisfaction. The membership of the club totalled 144. There was a credit balance of £9l. Officers elected were:—Patron, Mr W. Lee Martin, M.P.; president, Mr P. G.. R. Taylor; vice-presidents, Messrs W. Murray and D. McAlpine; executive, Messrs J. Saswell, J. Baker, J. Watson, L. Canton, R. Paulsen, J. 11. Chisholm, 0. McCutehan, T. Lawson, 11. Gaskell, H. Chapman, J. Crawford and Y. Lindberg; secretary and treasurer, Mr J. Lockhart; assistant secretary, Mr McAlpine; ground marshal, Mr F. G. Marshall; dog steward, Mr J. Caswell; sheep steward, Mr A; Bartz; timekeepers, Messrs H. R. Lacy, J. Dromgool, W. Barnaby. Arrangements were made to hold the annual trials this year at Pukekawa on April 22, 23 and 24.
