TENNIS ASSOCIATION.
FOUR CLUBS AFFILIATE. Four lawn tennis clubs, Poken'o, Mangatawhiri, Pokeno Valley and Meroer, have affiliated and an association has been formed. Mr C. J. Leathern, of Pokeno, and Mr Reg. Woodcock, of Pokeno, have been elected president and secretary, respectively, of the new United Tennis Association. Matches played in the competition on Saturday resulted: — Pokeno 11, Pokeno Valley 3; Mercer 12, Mangatawhirl 2.
