DOG TRIALS.

SECOND ANNUAL FIXTURE. MAY 1,2, AND 3. The Tuakau District Sheep Dog Trial, Club's second annual dog trials will be held on Mr E. Friedlander's farm, near Tuakau, on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, May 1,2 and 3. The trials are to be conducted under the rules and' regulations of the North Island Sheep Dog Trial Association.

Cash and prizes, to the value of.over £l5O, are being offered and competing owners have a very ■ wide . range of events in which to gather prizes. The programme comprises four events as follows:—Class 1, long head, . pull}, drive | round rjng; class 2, short beadi* pull drive and yard; class 3, zigzag huntaway; class 4, head, pull back, hold in ring and huntaway.
