v The ladies championship'singles was won by Miss Rewa Johns, of the Pukekohe club, after a great battle with Miss B. Campbell, .of Onehunga. Both .players were in form and some splendid back, line play was seen. Both placed nicely and the issue was always in doubt, r -Miss Johns took, the first
