PUKEKOHE v. HARBOUR BOARD.
LOCAL TEAM DEFEATED
The Pukekohe cricket representatives journeyed to Auckland on Saturday last to play a match against.the Auckland Harbour Board’s eleven, and were defeated by 50 runs. Pykey kohe’s first innings was a procession the bowling of Martin and' Bennett completely - demoralising them, j-the whole team being disposed of for Tthe small total of 14 runs. In their venture Harbour Board .rattled up. 73, the opening men, Breeze and. Turner, retiring when they had made 13 and 30 respectively. £ The outstanding performance of the day was the splendid bowling of- J. Bonner, of the Pukekohe team. \Aho captured seven wickets for 22 runs The game wasAplayed in the outer Domain on a very rough pitch.
