Or Parvin seconded the motion, which was carried. Grs Parvin, Rae, Wilkinson, Russell and the Mayor voting for the motion. The remaining councillors did not vote. It was unanimously agreed, on the motion of the .Mayor, seconded by Gr Parvin, that the town clerk and electrical engineer he asked to withdraw their resignations. Both officials agreed to do so. Gr Russell suggested that the council should settle down to business in a proper way. He thought they should cut out all bickering and work harmoniously l'or the welfare of the borough.
