THE PAERATA FACTORY.
CONTRACjr LET. r>, .. - WORK BEGINS. Reference was made by Mr A. J. JjlnclSilr, assistant manager of the New Zealand Dairy Company, ax Buckland on Tuesday night, to ~the erection of the new butter factory at Paerata. He said that the building would be erected as early as possible and that they were working up so that the factory could be openrd on Ist September. It was not intended that it should be a very elaborate structure—in fact it was to be of Corrugated iron, l but the plant and machinery was the very best to be obtained. The erection of the Mount Eden factory had been deferred po that the Paerata one could be put up as speedily as possible. The machinery intended for the Mt Eden structure was being put in the Paerata factory.
A commencement has been made with the work of erecting the factory.
