INCORRECT BELIEFS ALLEGED IN ANGLICAN “RED BOOK”
SYDNEY, June 25. The main defect in the “ Red Book ” which contained “ unauthorised forms of Church of. England worship,” was that it could lead to a belief in doctrines contrary to Christian teachings, Canon T. C. Hammond told Mr Justice ltoper in the Equity Court today. Canon Hammond was crossexamined on the evidence he gave yesterday criticising the form of service as prescribed in the lied Book claim to be used by the Anglican Bishop of Bathurst, Dr Arnold Lomas Wylde. Continuation of the suit, at which Canon Harnmond gave evidence because of his impending trip to England, was adjourned.
