OPEN BILLIARDS CHAMPIONSHIP
The present titleholder, A. Rudduck. scored the best break of' 73, when the second round of the open billiards championship of Otago was commenced last night. The tournament is being conducted by the Otago Amateur Billiards Association The results were as follows: —L. Napper 500 beat W. C. Proctor 458 Best breaks: Napper, 53, 38, 26, 26 , 21, 20; Proctor, 33, 30. 26. 26, 22 , 22, 20. A Rudduck 500 (the present titleholder) beat J. Todd 321. Best breaks: Rudduck, 73, 56. 24, 23; Todd. 34. 21. To-night's games will complete the second round, in which J. McLaiiglilin (Mosgiel) will meet G. Walsh. and. P. M. Iveppel (Milton) will play E. Richardson.
