POLITICAL UNREST CAUSING BLOODSHED IN ITALY
(Ree. 11.30 a,mi) ROME, June 24. Political unrest is causing disorders' and bloodshed throughout Italy. Molotov tdbktdiis, automatic weapons, and hand grenades were used in Sicily in attacks on Left Wing party headquarters. Two persons were kilted and 2d‘lrijtired. The situation Is tense in Palermo, where the police are fully mobilised. The Left Wing trade Union Confederation has called a general strike throughout Italy in protest against attacks on Communists. A Christian Democrat deplity was beaten up in Strikes of Rome firemen and northern transport workers have been called.
