OBITUARY
MR G. P. ALDRIDGE (P.A.) WELLINGTON, June, 24. The'death occurred at HeleriSville last night of (Mr G. 11,I 1 , Aldridge, for the last 24 years secretary bf the New Zealand Boxing Association. A fortnight ago he took a rest from lna duties ahd went to Helensville for recuperative treatment. He Was in his sixty-fifth year. Under Mr Aldridge s guidance, boxing in New Zealand has flourished. A returned soldier of the first world war, he was formerly tprominent in R.S.A. affairs, arid took active part in the inauguration of the. pensions scheme. He WaS a member of the Olympic Association,
