STEAMER UNDAMAGED BY FIRE IN BUNKERS
NEWCASTLE, May 16. Inspection revealed that no damage was done to the steamer Aroona, the coal in the bunkers of which took fire on Wednesday. After working throughout the night, the firemen and the watersiders succeeded in unloading 500 tons of coal, and so reaching the seat of the,.fire. The vessel will continue her journey to Adelaide with sugar.
