REQUEST FOR WITHDRAWAL
RUSSIAN PLANES IN PERSIA LONDON, May 2. The Teheran correspondent of the British United Press says that Persia has turned down renewed Russian demands for the immediate formation of a joint Russo-Persian air company to operate in Northern Persia, saying that, since it signed the international air agreement in Washington it cannot grant monopolistic concessions to any single nation. It also asked that the Russians withdraw all their planes now using aerodromes in Northern Persia.
