MR CHURCHILL AS PAINTER
PICTURES IN ROYAL ACADEMY (Rec. 11.15 a.m 1 LONDON, April 28. Mr Churchill will, for the first time, have two of his paintings exhibited in 1947 in the Royal Academy. The paintings were sent in under the pseudonym of “ Air Winter.” The Hanging Committee did not know the artist’s real name until the pictures had been selected. The paintings are entitled' ‘ Winter Sunshine ’ and ‘ The Loup River, ALpes Maritimes ’ They will appear in the catalogue under Mr Churchill’s name.
