LAHORE RIOTING
MANY CASUALTIES BUSINESS SUSPENDED (Rec. 10.20 a.m.) LAHORE, Mar. 5. Seventeen were killed and 89 injured during disturbances to-day. The authorities called out British troops, and imposed a curfew between 8 P-jn. and 7,a.m. for 10 days. The police fired to disperse the mob, which set alight a number of buildings in the bullion market. The Government, has reimposed the ban on demonstrations and the carrying of weapons. Business in the city is suspended and traffic disorganised.
