John McDougall Arneill was convicted and fined £3 in default 14 days’ imprisonment. CHIMNEY FIRE. For allowing his chimney to catch fire Gordon Alexander Russell was fined ss, with costs (10s). TRAFFIC OFFENCES. For driving a truck without having a heavy traffic license Hugh Albert Brockie was fined £l, with costs (10s); Stated to have driven a motor vehicle without due care and attention, David John Munro was fined 10s and ordered to pay costs (10s). James Edward McNalty, who drove a motor vehicle without a warrant of fitness, was fined 10s, with costs (10s). Charged with failing to give way to traffic approaching from the right, Arthur Ernest Davis was fined £2, and ordered to pay costs amounting to £3 12s. , Similarly charged. .Mister Mervin George Johnston was fined £l, with costs totalling £1 3s.
