HEADQUARTERS BURGLARY

THIRD VISITATION (P.’A.)' WELLINGTON, February 18. The pavilion of the Wellington Bowling Club, 'headquarters for the New Zealand championship tournament, was burgled at the week-end. Possibly working on the assumption that entry fees would be kept at headquarters, the burglars opened the club’s safe, removing about £8 from a locked drawer. This' was the third attempt on the same safe, it having been burgled during the last Dominion tournament at Wellington, and again shortly before the present tournament commenced, when some money was taken.
