SHIFTING THE WANGANELLA.

With the removal of the Waipori from the floating dock this morning and with the development of fair weather and a light northerly, there is a possibility that the Wangauclia will be transferred to the dock at high tide at 3 o’clock this afternoon. . There may be a last-minute cancellation of the movement, but officials are confident that the plan will be carried out unless there are unexpected developments. The Wanganella has been ready to make the transfer for about a week. The ship is drawing a few inches less than 25 feet at her bow.—'Press Association. STABILISATION (REVISION. The Hon. ID. G. Sullivan iu-» formed the Manufacturers’ Federation , conference to-day that it seemed that, some modification of

the administration of price control and stabilisation might become

necessary, and that it might be desirable in the near future to have

a full-dress conference representative of all sections of the community to discuss how and in what direction and to wiiat extent the stabilisation policy should be modified. —Vf ailing leu Press Association.

WATERSIDE AGREEMENT. The terms of the settlement between the Government and New Zealand Waterside Workers’ Union were notified officially yesterday to the union and- the New Zealand Waterside Employers’ Association, and the Waterfront Industry Commissioner, Mr A. E. Bockett, said to-day that early publication of these terms could be expected—probably to-morrow.— Press Association.
