OVER 200 RELPIEB TO ’STAR 1 ADVERTISEMENT The housing problem has not improved With the advent of the new year, striking evidence of the acute demand for accommodation being given by the iarge heap of replies received to an advertisement of “ house to let ” appearing in last night’s ‘ Star/ No particulars of the type of house offered were given in the advertisement, which read: “ House to let; all conveniences; 32s 6d weekly.” Replies came quickly this morning by mail and delivery, and before 11 o’clock there were over 200 letters for the advertiser.
