WARRINGTON PRESBYTERIANS
MINISTER INDUCTED The Presbytery of Dunedin inducted the Rev. lan B. Wilson, 8.A., into the charge of Seaclitf-Warrington in the church at Seacliff last evening. The Moderator, the Rev. H. A. Mitchell, conducted the service, assisted by the Rev. H. J. Crawford, who preached the sermon, and the Rev. A. M. Elliffe, who gave the charge to the minister and congregation. Mr Wilson has been the minister at Hanmer Springs, where he was ordained in 1941, and was visiting chaplain to the Queen Mary Hospital there. An important part of his new charge will be as Presbyterian chaplain to the mental hospital at Seacliff. Mr Wilson was born in Lyttelton, and educated at St. Andrew’s College, Christchurch, and Canterbury University College, where he graduated B.A. He received his theological education at the Presbyterian Theological Hall in Dunedin.
