N.Z. A TOP LINE CUSTOMER (N.Z.P.A: Special Correspondent.) (Rec. 11 a.m.) LONDON, Oct. 18. The best individual customers for British motor cars during August were British India and New Zealand, states the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders. Of the 6,592 cars exported that month, valued at £1,690,538, 53 per cent, went to the British Empire. British India took 836 cars and New Zealand 817. During the first eight months of. this year Britain produced 119,610 cars and 90,614 commercial vehicles.
