SERIOUS OFFENCE ALLEGED After the hearing of further evidence in the Police Court yesterday afternoon, Hyman Julius Isaacs, aged 68, a boot manufacturer pleaded not guilty to a charge of unlawfully using an instrument on a woman in order to procure a miscarriage, and he was committed <*by Mr H. W. Bundle, S.M., to the Supreme Court for trial. Chief Detective T. Y. Hall conducted the prosecution, and the accused, who was granted bail of £250, -with a surety of the same amount, was represented by Mr O. G. Stevens.
