CITY BANDS
SCHEDULE OF CONCERTS The Reserves Committee of the City Council reports that, following the' decision of the council to subsidise eight city bands, a schedule of band concerts has been prepared. The concerts will commence on September 22, and continue throughout the summer, coneluding on April 27. Each band has been allotted four concerts in the Botanic Gardens on a Sunday afternoon and one concert hi the Octagou reserve on a Friday evening.
