JEWISH TERRORISTS ACTIVE BRITISH POLICE SERGEANT KILLED (Rec. 11.5 a.m.) • ■ JERUSALEM, September 9. The Jewish National Council, ,Vaad Leumi, after a six-hour meeting which was attended by Jewish mayors and the chairmen of local community councils from 'all parts of Palestine, carried a resolution for non-co-operation with the local administration. Non-co-opera- ■ tion is, to be effective immediately, with the resignations of Jewish members from about 30 Government advisory committees, covering, practically every aspect of civil administration. A bomb explosion to-day wrecked the public information and Press censorship offices in Tel-Aviv. The casualties are reported not serious. The railway line in front of the post office at Tel-Aviv, also the railway between Tel-Aviv and Jaffa were blown up by mines this evening. Two Jews, believed to be members of the Stem gang, shot dead , a British police sergeant in a Haifa'street. Twenty-five gunmen attacked a goods .traiu near Jerusalem after detonating a mine 200 yards in front of it. Arab police returned the fire and drove off the attackers. •
