MR PHILIP NOEL-BAKER. fell 150 ft from Shark's Fin Ridge on Great Cable Mountain into Hellfire Gap in the Lake District yesterday during a tour by a climbing party, of which Mr Noel-Baker was a member. The search party, which Mr NoelBaker raised, after a night in the blizzard, rescued Noyce early to-day. He suffered arm and leg injuries. Noyce was injured on Scaw Fell in 1937 and on Ben Nevis in 1939.
