JAPANESE ACCUSED OF CANNIBALISM (Rec. 8 a.m.) SYDNEY, April 16. . Three Japanese soldiers and seven Formosan civilians who were attached to a Japanese army unit were sentenced to be hanged by two war crimes courts at Rabaul to-day. Captain Taikashi Takashaki was found guilty oi cannibalism and was sentenced to be hanged. Three others were sentenced to 10 years' imprisonment on a similar charge.
