RUSSIA AMD AMERICA LATEST SOVIET PROPAGANDA LONDON, April 15. Russia is trying to make the United States weary of the United Nations in order to foster the campaign for a two-Power—Russian and American —• world, which is at present being perpetually propagated in the United States, says the ' Daily Mail's' diplomatic correspondent, commenting on the prospects for the meeting of the Security Council to-day. He said the argument is advanced that Russia and America won the war and they are therefore the only remaining Powers capable of maintaining peace. Russian propaganda in the United States reletates Britain to a minor role and m oing its utmost to eliminate British influence in world affairs. The correspondent said some Americans were impressed by the argument because it gave them a sense of power. The Russian plan was to get the United Nations from the United Statea to Europe as Russia believed she could be dominant from Geneva. Soviet officials who are disseminating the propaganda frankly admit that the United States must tire of the United Nations and its difficulties if Russia were sufficiently persistent—and there is a better chance of America tiring if the United Nations go to Geneva.
