CIVILIAN TRAVELLERS
SHIP LEAVING FOR AMERICA MELBOURNE, April 15. Accommodation for 965 civilians urgently wishing to travel from Australia and New Zealand to the United States will be available on the American troopship Marine Lynx, which will leave Sydney on May 14 and reach San Francisco 15 clays later. The whole accommodation of the ship is reserved for civilians. There is room for 285 women and children in the cabin class and 680 men in former troop compartments. "The ship may be the only large American vessel to take commercial travellers from Australian and New Zealand ports for some time.
