LABOUR PARTY
The first monthly meeting of the newly-formed Burkes-St. Leonards branch of the New Zealand Labour Party was held in the King George; Hall on Tuesday last, the chairman (Mr H. C. Tobin) presiding over a
good attendance of members. Fifteen new members were elected. Messr* 11. C. Montgomery. P Mafiinnis,' and P. Jenkins were appointed delegate* tn the district Campaign Committee Arrangements were completed for a dehate to be held at the uext meeting of the branch.
