Sir, —1 am a would-be traveller to Christchurch on Good Friday, and I am told that reservations can onlv b? made seven days ahead. lam in business from 8.30 a.m. until 5.30 p.m., and therefore cannot stand in queue* to obtain a seat. Neither have I anyone to do this for me. Why is it that the public cannot reserve at least a month ahead, and thus save congestion during tho last week?
