RELATIVES RECEIVE AWARDS (P.A.) AUCKLAND, February 12. Their Excellencies the GovernorGeneral and Lady Newall Received privately at Government House this morning the immediate relatives of a number of deceased service personnel, when his Excellency handed to the next-of-kin the decoration and medals mentioned below:— —Military Cross Mrs P. C. Fishlock, of Ahuroa, the widow of Captain F. D. Barry, 15th Light Aid Detachment. —Military Medal.— Mts A. O. Klaus, of Waitoa, mother of the late Second-lieutenant C. D. M. Klaus. 21st Battalion. Mr, K. S. Rowron, of Thames, friend of the late Sergeant N. Buxton, 21st Battalion. Master Whaeo Hudson and Master Heeni Taia, both of Opotiki, nephews of thi late Corporal J. Pirihi. 28th Maori Battalion.
