The monthly meeting of the Tuieri County Council ivas presided over bv Cr C. Findlay The date for the imposition of the penalty on unpaid rates was fixed for March'22, 1946. „ The registration fees for dogs and the method of collecting them were reviewed. Working.. dogs were set down at 2s 6d fee and all others at 10s. D. Donaldson, Outram, applied for the_ use of the grader to grade road.— This matter was left to the engineer. M. H. Wilson, Takitao, requested the council to attend to the road.— The request to be complied with as soon as possible. The Otago Automobile Association applied for the use of Dukes road for a motor cycle test.—Permission granted subject to the Transport Department controlling the test.
