■ JUNIOR TITLE MATCHES DOUBLES QUARTER-FINALS (P.A.) OHRISTOHURCH, Jan. 25. Play was concentrated on the doubles events when the New Zealand junior tennis championships entered the semi-final stages at Wilding Park to-day. Once again conditions were excellent. BOYS' DOUBLES. —Quarter-finals. — P.- G. Nicholls (Waikato) and K. R. Moßrearty (Hutt Valley) beat V. J. Donnelly and S. W. Duggan (Otago) 6-1, 6-1. . GIRLS' DOUBLES. —Quarter-finals.— Misses E. J. Coull (Wanganui) and S. Jenkins (Auckland) beat Misses A. Malone and A. M. Tinnock (Auckland) 6-2, 5-6, 6-2. Misses B. E. Lobb (Taranaki) and J. F. Burke (Bay of Plenty) beat Misses J. Mac Gibbon and' P. Woodhouse (Canterbury) 5-6, 6-1, 11-9. MIXED DOUBLES. —Quarter-finals. — J. A. Barry and Miss H. Redwood (Auckland) beat J. W. Tait and Miss R. Oldfield (South Canterbury) 6-2, 6-0.
