FOXHAVEN FANCIED TRENTHAM STAKES DUEL The Wellington Racing'Club's summer meeting will be concluded to-mor-row. The fields have dwindled a good deal, but will still be large, with the exception of the Trentham Stakes, for which only three have been left in to oppose Golden Souvenir. One of these will be Irish Note, who promises to he a strong opponent for the champion. The other two, Financial and Longsword, are also in the Summer Handicap, so that there is a possibility of the stakes being confined to the two Riccarton horses. Rain fell on Wednesday morning but the weather has Been fine since and there is not likely to be any change in the track conditions which prevailed on Tuesday. ; The following horses should race well:— High-weight Handicap.—Matador, Abdicate, The Monarch.
