SCOTLAND v. KIWIS.

TO THE EDITOR. Sir, —In recent issues of your popular paper we have read of .Welsh and English correspondents congratulating the "Kiwis" for the sporting defeat of their kinsmen. What about poor auld Scotland? We dinna want ta'e boast about it, you know, but wasn't it a grand victory? I am sure brither Scots, and sister Scots too, will follow the " Kiwis' " example and give the young Scots team a toast. There will always be a Scotland when there is a fight—right against might—or in the sporting field against the world's best; which happened at Edinurgh, the Dunedin of the north.—l am, etc., January 22. Frae Dunoon.
