PRIME MINISTER'S ULTIMATUM
(Re::. 11.25 a.m.) ATHENS, Jan. 22. M. Sofoulis has given the Royalist " X Organisation " until 4 p.m. today to surrender. In the event of noncompliance, the Greek military fores will attack them. Anxiety is felt over the fate of hostages. Tie Communist political bureau has issued a statement attacking the British occupation forces for allegedly supplyng the police in Athens with fresh arms and failing to call in the old ones,' which have been passed on to menbers of the " X Organisation." The statement adds that the British authorities must therefore be held responsible for the recent outrages in Kalanata.
