ROYALIST ORGANISATION DENIAL
GOVERNMENT EXAGGERATION ALLEGED (Rea. 8 a.m.) ATHENS, Jan. 21. Cclonel George Grivas, 55-year-old head of the Royalist organisation, denied that he or the. party in any way instigated the Kalamata disturbances. He accused the Greek Government of Grossly exaggerating the disorders to iscredit the Monarchists. Grivas described the Royalist Party as legally constituted, and with an enrolled membership of nearly 400,000. It was no longer armed. Its aim was to fight the Communists, “ who sought to Sovieiise Greece.”
