—Air Passengers.— Passengers for the north to-day were Mr and Mrs J. E. Green and infant, Mrs H. Dodgson, Miss D. Dodgson (for Wellington), Mr and Mrs E. O. Tohill, Master R. Whyte, Mr T. Giller, Rev. Father R. Bennett (for Auckland). Petty-officer Arch. Williamson, electrical artificer, has returned from naval service abroad to his parents’ home at Highgate. Roslyn. He is accompanied by his wife and child. Mr G. A. Taylor, manager for New Zealand of the Prudential Assurance Company, Ltd., has relinquished his position. Mr G. H. Heath, a member of the head office management, and accountant for Australia and New Zealand of the company, has been appointed temporarily to fill the position as acting manager for New Zealand. Pending Mr Heath’s arrival Mr K. J. H. Waller, chief agency supervisor for New Zealand, will assume control. Mr H. Graham Watson, of 5 Littlebourne crescent, who was a successful candidate in the recent pharmacy B examinations, topped the Dominion in marks in both botany and chemistry. The foundation for his success was laid at the Otago Boys’ High School, and continued m the pharmacy classes at the Dunedin Tecnnical College. A N.Z.E.F. casualty list records as killed in action Pte. lan Wilson, of Dunedin, who was previously reported missing. Guests registered at the City Hotel include Mr D. Morice (Vancouver), Flight-lieutenant J. McLean (Auckland), Mi-s D. Mclnroe, Miss E. Mclnroe, Miss J. J. Berry, Mr B. Cox, Mr and Mrs F. L. Harrison, Miss H. Harrison (Christchurch), Mrs -W. R: Sutton (Kaitangata), Mr V. Dundass (Ida Valley), Flight-lieutenant Davidson (Clyde), Miss M. Bolt, and Mr and Mrs C. Harvey (Invercargill). Staying at Wain’s Hotel are Air McDonald, Mr E.
