(Rec. 8 a.m.) LONDON, December 29. The gale which for three days has whipped the United Kingdom last night blew itself out. (Rough seas washed up more mines, one of which forced a diversion of traffic on the main Brighton-Worthing road. Gales in the Atlantic forced the 27,000-ton United States aircraft carrier Wasp to put into Plymouth for three days for repairs.
