CR McMILLAN'S LATENESS.

TO THE EDITOR. ■Sir.—l was an interested reader of Dr McMillan’s letter to .your paper yesterday, and as a ratepayer of the city am naturally concerned at the service given by those who seek our suffrage at the council elections. Dr McMillan and the rest of the. city councillors were well aware when they offered themselves for election of the duties the position demanded. If Dr McMillan is too busy to perform these duties I suggest that there_ is no law in this country, as yet, which will compel him to retain his seat upon the council. I am sure that if he cares to give the citizens the opportunity someone else can be found who will fill his seat ‘with more attention to the requirements of such a position.—l am, etc.. December 20. Citizen.
