WEATHER PROSPECT
The Weather Office advised at noon: A depression is over.- the South-east Tasman, and north-east of Auckland, and an anti-cyclone south of the Chathams. Forecast to 5 p.m. Friday: Moderate winds from a northerly quarter, fresh at times on the coast. Weather fair, apart fro'm scattered rain in the western ranges to-morrow. Temperatures moderate, but risk of light frosts inland. Further outlook: Rain in the ranges, mainly fair elsewhere.
