TRIAL OF WAR CRIMINALS
THOUSANDS OF DOSSIERS PREPARED LONDON, August 31. The United Nations War Crimes Commission states that it has listed 21 of the 24 major war criminals awaiting trial before the international military tribunal established by the British, French, Russian, and American Governments. The commission has prepared detailed dossiers, which will be made available to the committee for the chief prosecutors in the preparation* of their cases. Thousands of further dossiers containing the charges and evidence against other war criminals have been examined by the commission and are now ready for the prosecutors' use. Some of the trials will be held before the international military tribunal, and others will be brought before national military, or occupation courts of the countries in which the war criminals committed their crimes.
