PETROL SUPPLIES
REPRESENTATIONS TO BRITAIN (P.A.) WELLINGTON, August 16. " Now that the Avar has finished," said the Minister of Supply, the Hon. D. G. Sullivan, " it is hoped further supplies of ipetrol will be available for civilian use, and the New Zealand Government is taking up the matter at once with the British authorities. Should any immediate measure of success be secured, "the small licenses recently revoked will be restored."
