MOSGIEL COURT
Mr A.' E. Dobbie, S.M., presided at the Mosgiel Court yesterday. Thomas Arthur White, for leaving a trailer on the Main South road tinlighted in a position dangerous to traffic, was fined £2 and costs (10s). Watt's Transport Ltd., for not displaying indication discs, was fined 10s and costs (10s). Ralph Holland, for not having a warrant of fitness, was fined 20s and costs (10s). Sydney Salisbury 'Harvey, for not having a driver's license, was fined 20s and costs (12s). Eric John and Sydney Tasman Smart, for carrying on a goods service in a controlled area without the necessary license, were fined £2 and costs (13s). N. Trewby and Co. Ltd., for a similar offence, was convicted and ordered to pay cost's (10s). Sydney George Gamble, for converting a motor cycle valued at. £IOO to his own use, was fined £lO and costs (10s). In connection with this same offence a youth, who was before the Children's Court, was admonished and discharged. A yout.h, whose name was suppressed, was fined £4 and costs (17s 6d) for having drink in his possession at a dance at Allanton.
